My friends had a surprise pre-birthday party for me last week, which was really lovely. It mainly consisted of sitting around, talking, eating cake. My best friend made me such an awesome cake! It was a coffee cake, and then around it there were little pandas made out of two cupcakes. God it was just the best.
Excuse the hideous picture of my hand, but LOOK at the nail polish, the black one is so cool, after you put on a base coat you apply the black one and when it dries, it cracks.
Also this weekend, I went to my friend's summer party. She had her Indian exchange there, who was called Krishi and naturally everyone wanted her to do henna on them and I felt a bit bad for her because it must get annoying. She was really nice.
Yesterday, I went to some induction thing at a school I'm thinking of going to for sixth form next year, it was pretty rad, the people were nice, the place was nice and all that shit. It's a boys' school, but they take girls in sixth form and my younger brother already goes there. As I was walking around, lots of people were yelling my name and I was very confused but it turned out they were my brother's friends. My brother recounted to me how they said I was "bufftingz" and I'm sure both my brother and I hope they were joking.
On a lighter note, I met lots of lovely people, including this guy who was called Mahu or something like that and he was awesome, we talked for ages about really lame stuff and about his work experience (he did it at Louis Vuitton!) where they gave him lots of free stuff. Then he let me touch his Afro and I knew it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship...
Nah I'm kidding he was nice though.

Oh, and my Breathless DVD arrived! Even though I've seen it lots of times before, it's still amazing shit and now I finally own the dvd FUCK YES.
